Lessons

We are currently based in the Santa Clarita Valley, and offering private lessons in the following areas:

• Guitar (electric and acoustic)
• Bass Guitar
• Piano/Keyboard
• Drum set
• Tutoring in Music Theory, Ear Training and Composition/Songwriting

Our teaching approach is founded on the idea that everyone has the ability and potential to play music. Rather than use one method book for any given instrument our lessons draw material from a variety of books and sources, according to what each individual student is learning. The program is simple: first learn to access the musician in yourself by learning and playing the songs and music that you love. Next, learn to access your inner creativity so that you can write your own songs, and jam with other musicians. Alongside the songs, the foundations of music theory, technique, and ear training are instilled in an organic and practical way.

Each month's lessons must be paid in advance, at the beginning of that month. Cancellations made 12 hours or more in advance will be granted a make-up lesson if possible, or credited to the next month. Only one make-up/credit will be allowed per month, and students will be charged for lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours notice.
