Songwriting 101

This class is for musicians who have always wanted to write their own music but didn't know where to start, as well as for novice songwriters who want to learn more about the craft ,take their songs to the next level and record a demo. Students will compose their own song over Six weeks of 90 minute sessions, workshop their ideas in a group setting, and record their masterpiece in a pro recording studio with a backing band! The class will also cover songwriting basics such as form, style and lyrics by studying a variety of songs from different artists and genres.
